Prom night can be one of the most dangerous nights in a child's life. Nationally, 5,000 teenagers are injured on a typical prom night including approximately 48 teenager fatalities, 40% of which are alcohol related. The Knights was formed to render aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works.
