Action Ministries Athens aids the hungry, homeless, and working poor in the Clarke County area through various services, including:

Our Daily Bread Community Kitchen, which serves breakfast and lunch Monday-Friday and provides a sack meal on the weekends.

Distribution of essential health, hygiene, and food items.

Referrals to other similar agencies.

Legal services.

Basic case management.

Nursing care.

Veterans assistance.

Free GED classes and computer training.

Employment search support.

Smart Lunch, Smart Kid, Action Ministries' statewide initiative provides children who free or reduced-price lunches during the school year with healthy lunches during the summer.
