2019 Toyota Tundra Interior
The interior of the Tundra has been designed for comfort and convenience. The spacious cabin has been designed so that drivers can easily reach the controls that are most needed. For luxurious touches on the seats and controls, drivers can choose the 1794 Edition of the Platinum Edition trim packages. Available dual-zone climate control gives the driver and the front passenger the ability to personalize their comfort level. The rear seats of the Double Cab and Crew Max models fold up to provide added interior cargo space. By folding the seats up instead of folding them flat, loading things into the interior cargo area is made easier.
2019 Toyota Tundra Performance
There are two engine options for the Tundra. The i-Force 4.6 liter V8 engine provides 310 horsepower and 327 lb-ft of torque. The 4.6 liter engine has 32 valves, Double Overhead Cams and Dual Independent Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i). The other option also has a 32 valve design with Double Overhead Cams and Dual Independent Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i). It is an i-Force 5.7 liter V8 that provides 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The 5.7 liter V8 also includes a towing package that adds oil coolers for both the engine and the transmission to help with towing performance. To shift torque to the ground, the rear differential on the 5.7 liter V8 has been equipped with a 10.5 inch ring gear. The Tundra has 13.9 inch front brake rotors and four piston front brake calipers to assist with stopping even the heaviest load. The Automatic Limited-Slip Differential automatically applies the brakes to wheels individually to help control the slip and regain traction. The Automatic Limited-Slip Differential distributes power and helps maintain control without cutting power to the engine. If the Tundra is equipped with 4 wheel drive, there is an A-TRAC system that divides traction between the front and rear axles which provides overall improved traction.
2019 Toyota Tundra Payload and Towing
Trucks are built to haul or tow cargo. The Triple Tech frame of the Tundra features an integrated hitch receiver. That receiver marries with a hitch that has 12 bolts that are integrate into the frame which results in more towing stability. When the Tundra is equipped with the right equipment it has a towing rating of more than 10,000 pounds.
