Rental Qualifications
What are the qualifications to rent?
You must be 21 years or older with a valid physical driver’s license (copies not accepted). You must also provide proof of personal comprehensive and collision coverage insurance that will transfer to the rental. Insurance will be verified at time of pick up so please bring all required items with you.
What methods of payment are accepted?
Rentals must be paid with a bank issued debit card or a major credit card. Cash and check are not accepted nor are prepaid or reloadable cards. Card must match renter’s name and be presented at time of pick up as a card number must be put on file.
Can I purchase insurance with you?
No, we do not offer insurance here nor do we offer a CDW (collision damage waiver) all renters must have full coverage insurance.
How long can I rent a vehicle for?
We offer hourly, daily and weekly rental rates. The rental agreement can not go past 30 calendar days. At that point you would need to come in and renew your rental agreement. If you need your rental for longer than originally intended you may call to extend over the phone ONCE. After your one phone extension you will need to come back into the dealership to sign a new agreement.
Are there any extra fees?
There is a refundable $200 deposit required at time of pick up. There is a sales (8%) and rental (3%) tax as well. All of our rentals come with unlimited mileage, you are however responsible for the fuel. Rentals must be returned with the same amount of fuel or a $5/gallon fuel charge will apply. You will also be responsible for any traffic or toll violation incurred during your rental period.
Do you have an after hours drop off?
No, all vehicles must be picked up and returned during our rental business hours. If you are unable to do so you will be charged for any additional days and it will be considered a policy violation.
Can I have my pet in the rental?
To ensure that the quality of our vehicles meet all of our customer’s needs we have a no smoking or pet policy for all of our rentals. A violation of this policy will result in a $200 fee and revoke future renting privileges with us.
Is there a charge for additional drivers?
No, you are allowed to have additional driver’s authorized on your rental agreement at no extra charge. Additional driver’s must be present at time of pick up and meet the basic requirements. All driver’s must have their own full coverage insurance that will be verified.
Can I take the rental out of state?
Yes, rentals are allowed to travel anywhere in the US and Canada.
